The Daily Essential Moisturiser SPF30+ is the latest edition of the Alpha-H family. I have used my fair share of SPF moisturisers over the years and I find most of them far too heavy, leaving my skin oily and congested, which then in turn causes breakouts. What is different about this one is that is lightweight, water resistant, touch dry and ultra sweat resistant. In the humid climate, here in Australia, I find that my moisturiser and sun protection normally sweats off me within minutes of applying, well not anymore, this one stays put. It comes in a low irritant, non-greasy formula designed so that your pores can breathe.
It is a multi-tasking 3 in 1 product combination of moisturiser, antioxidant and sunscreen. It contains non-nano broad-spectrum protection filters that block both UVA and UVB rays by reflecting them before they reach your skin. The skin preserving antioxidants provide 30 times your skin’s natural protection against sunburn. It is also beneficial in the fight against ageing and may reduce the risk of certain sun cancers. What’s more, it is water resistant for up to four hours.
If you have an oily or combination complexion this would be the ideal daily moisturiser for you. I have been using the Daily Essential Moisturiser SPF30+ for the last couple of weeks, on a daily basis, and I am impressed with its staying power. My face stay's matte all day, without looking shiny, nor have I experienced any breakouts. It comes in a pump bottle and with just two pumps; it produces a light creamy fluid that is enough to cover my entire face and neck. It absorbs instantly leaving my face prepped and ready to apply foundation. I find I do not need a primer when using this product as it definitely assists in keeping my foundation in place all day.
Overall, I believe I have found my holy grail of SPF moisturisers. Being that is perfect for my skin type and addresses all of my usual concerns with no cons at all. I think the title is very fitting, as it is now a “daily essential” in my skincare regime, and one that will prove to run rings around similar products on the market. This is a five star creation that I am sure everyone will be bending over backwards to try.

I totally agree with everything Melanie in the 1st review has said. I too have spent many years trying to find the right SPF product for the face. Before SPF moisturiser were introduced into the beauty maket, I was doing the moisturiser 1st & then applying sunscreen which the SPF moisturisers did come out, many of them were still very thick, hard to apply & still were not suitable for oily skin types.
When I spoke to the rep from Alpha-H when they introduced this product, they were very excited, & I was a sceptic, as they said it was a vast improvement on their previous product. Well, I must agree that this is wonderful, as I actually use 3 pumps to apply this liberally over my face & neck for a decent coverage, & it does not leave a slick layer at all, is very light to touch & it does not have the unpleasant odor of sunscreen. In fact, I would've been happy if this was just another moisturiser for oily skin, but the fact it has SPF & performs really well has me as a permanent user. I hope they keep the pump application too, as it gives the right amount each time. Very happy customer.
