this product is extremely gentle for my sensitive skin. After using this product, I don't get the tight feeling as i would normally get from other cleansers. The texture is very similar to cetaphil cleanser but it works better than cetaphil as it is a more powerful cleanser. Hence if you like cetaphil cleanser this is definitely a HD product for you.

Would definitely recommend this product if you have sensitive skin and looking for a mild cleanser.

This is a reformulated version of an old favourite. I consider it a multi-tasking cleanser, as it not only cleanses my face it is also an effective eye makeup remover and can be used with or without water. It is packed full of botanical ingredients that provide soothing, calming relief to stressed out, angry red skin and it also boasts anti-inflammatory and skin healing properties. Featuring Vitamins, such as pro-Vitamin B5, it is ideal for repairing irritated skin. It is so good it can be used as a medicated cleanser and is perfect for sufferers of eczema, rosacea and sensitive skin who commonly experience painful burning and itching sensations, along with flushed red skin.. It works a treat on dry, flaky skin and is equally effective for people like me with oily skin as it doesn't clog pores or cause breakouts.

The formula is a lightweight, milky but transparent gel, with just a delicate hint of the signature Dermalogica lavender fragrance that is super gentle for all skin types. It is presented in a pump style bottle, which makes for easy application and one pump is plenty for my entire face and neck, therefore the bottle will last for ages. It can be used waterless with a cotton pad to wipe off make and cleanse the face (which is handy for those who are strapped for time or may be hyper-sensitive to water), but I prefer the regular method and always wash it off with warm water. Even though its gentle to my skin, its still hard working on facial dirt and grime and it makes removing makeup a breeze, yet surprisingly it leaves behind no pesky residue, so my face is not at all greasy, just soft and ultimately hydrated. It is pleasantly soothing and refreshing on my skin, while it significantly reduces facial redness and blotchy, patchy skin without making my skin feel tight or dry. It doesn't lather up as such, so I like to use it in the mornings because it is more suited to my AM skin care regime, where I prefer a milk or cream based gentle cleanser.

This is a results oriented cleanser that is ideal to have on hand for those unexpected skin flare-ups, or for just whenever you need skin care that will be ever so nourishing on the skin, whilst still getting down to business and performing the task at hand. It is suited to everyone and anyone, but especially those of us who have frequent sensitivity issues or just want a nurturing facial cleanser while having a break from using more powerful and potent skin care products. I can't fault it, two big thumbs up from me, definitely worth a try :)
