I was keen to try this treatment as I currently incorporate a Vitamin C serum into my daily skincare regime and I liked the fact that this serum not only contains the Vitamin C antioxidant but it also has the added boost of Vitamin E for some extra oomph.
Although it comes in a small bottle, you only need a few drops to massage into your whole face, so the bottle will last you for ages. It comes with a dropper to ensure you use as much or as little as you need. After a few attempts, I worked out the exact amount, which was only two tiny drops, to give me the perfect application. If you have dry skin you might like to use a little more, but in my case, less is definitely more.
When I first applied the serum I felt that it was going to be too rich and greasy for my already oily skin, and it would wind up leaving me with a shiny face throughout the day, or even worse give me pimples. I was surprised that even though it does feel oily initially, it actually sinks right in and leaves my skin feeling soft and subtle. Not once has it contributed towards my face becoming greasy, nor has it caused me breakouts. Another pleasant surprise I discovered was unlike some of the other Vitamin C serums/creams I have tried, this serum does not leave a tingling or stinging sensation at all. It is very kind and gentle, which makes it ideal for even the most sensitive skin.
I use this serum every morning and have had no complications wearing my regular moisturiser, sunscreen and makeup over the top; it actually creates a lovely smooth canvas, which voids the need for me to use a separate primer.
It has been nearly a month since I started using the CE Tetra and already I am starting to reap the benefits. The texture of my skin is nice and soft and it maintains a gorgeous healthy glow. My skin has not experienced regular breakouts and my skin tone appears to be evening out nicely, being nowhere near as red as it was prior to using this serum.
I am most certain that after a longer period the benefits will be far more obvious. Like any treatment, these solutions take time and you need to stick with them for a few months before you will see noticeable results. I have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone who wants an antioxidant boost like no other, it is perfect for all skin types and gentle enough to use regularly, even if you suffer from sensitive skin. I am happy with the positive experience I have had using this serum and would definitely like to continue with the treatment as I think it is a compliment to my skincare regime and I believe that the results speak for themselves
