This product was the first product I was interested in when I first discovered the Medik8 range. I have always had sensitive skin that is prone to redness and have previously tried products that also claim to reduce facial redness, none of which I have found to be overly successful.
This serum comes in a small bottle in which you use a dropper to distribute the serum. Initially I thought this serum was too heavy and rich for my skin, which is already oily. I was worried that it could clog my pores and contribute to breakouts, while also leaving me with a shiny face during the day. I am pleased to announce this is not the case. It did take me a few attempts to work out just the right amount of serum that I needed to use on my skin, because found that if I went overboard that it took a bit longer to absorb. It did however, totally absorb with no residue what so ever, which was a welcoming relief and presented me with a smooth base to apply makeup. It is unscented and doesn’t suffocate my skin, or cause me to sweat like I have experienced with other serums. Instead, after it absorbs I don’t even notice it on my skin; it is so lightweight.
I use this serum every morning after using the CE Tetra and it keeps my skin soft and moisturised. It has been nearly a month since I introduced this serum into my daily routine and I am thrilled with the results. It compliments my current skincare products and is a beneficial step in the fight against aging skin. I have noticed that not only has it reduced the overall redness of my face leaving me with a clearer even skin tone, it also appears to have softened some of the fine lines I had developing underneath my eye area. I also have noticed the appearance of the pores around my nose have decreased and the pores that I can still see are now much smaller and far less obvious.
I have found this serum to work a charm, especially if my skin is irritated. Normally I tend to worry about using skincare products on my skin if it is inflamed but I can safely say that Medik8 is both calming and soothing while being extremely gentle on my skin. It noticeably diminishes the redness almost instantly when it is aggravated, but over the duration, the overall redness has substantially subsided.
The Red Alert Serum comes at a bargain price compared to the previous products I have tried and although nearly half the price it delivers better results, that I can actually see. I am excited to learn just how good my skin will look after long-term use. I am definitely sticking around to find out :)

As a sufferer of a patch of redness on one of my cheeks , I was eager to try the Medik8 Red Alert Serum to see if it could help me.

I have now been using this product religiously every morning for nearly two months and I can actually notice a small yet definitely visible difference as the redness is appearing less red and much smaller now. I am only using it on the redness, not all over my face, to help make the product last and one drop is actually all I need as the serum is easily spread and very quickly absorbed. I shouldn't be too concerned about making the product last as it really is a great price compared to some of the other products promoting the same results.

The other thing you notice with Medik8 Red Alert is how soft and supple it makes your skin and I am now thinking I may try it on the little frown line between my eyes to see if it may help with reducing the line as this is another benefit of this wonderful serum.

I am sure Medik8 Red Alert will remain an integral part of my daily skincare routine as it is working, so I am hoping over time the redness may reduce even further and I will report back in another couple of months on how it is going with the lines and if there is any more improvement in the redness.
