This is a unique style moisturiser that has recently been reformulated and it is a must have for anyone who suffers from sensitised skin who is looking for a breakthrough that will revolutionise your skin concerns. It is designed to provide a protective barrier between sensitive skin and harsh environmental aggressors. It shields skin and locks in moisture to keep it constantly hydrated, while helping to prevent further assault.

There is no to very little scent as it is free of any nasty, potentially irritating synthetic fragrances, which can aggravate sensitised skin even further. It has the most unique texture I have ever experienced in a moisturiser due to the waterless, silicone based formulation. It is extremely lightweight and is of an almost gel-like, silky consistency, however it glides on with ease and leaves my skin feeling super soft and smooth. It completely melts onto my skin but one thing to remember is that you have to make sure you don't use too much or it will leave a greasy after-feel, instead just a tiny drop works wonders for oily skin like mine and gives it a matte, natural looking finish. It works like a charm at soothing any irritation by offering a cool, calming relief that soothes angry, stressed out skin. It also reduces redness effectively and delivers the right amount of hydration to leave my skin feeling nourished and highly moisturised.

I like to multi-task this moisturiser and not only use it at night as recommended, because I have discovered, that due to the silicone based formula, it also makes for a perfect primer under makeup. I can eliminate the need for a separate moisturiser and primer when I use the Barrier Repair, because this product really does both, and does an amazing job. It creates the perfect base to apply my foundation, which goes on effortlessly and stays put all day, without looking shiny or greasy; just the perfect flawless finish that makes my skin look fresh and healthy. While the tube appears small initially, only the tiniest amount of product is needed so I find it lasts for ages.

I highly recommend this product, it is so useful and can be used anywhere on the body, not only your face, as it delivers no-nonsense results that effectively puts an end to your irritated skin woes. It should be a staple in everyone's beauty bag, as a multi-tasker that will calm down inflamed skin whenever its needed. Almost like a bandaid in a tube! While it might not be sufficiently moisturising enough for those with dry skin, I would still apply it and then use a separate moisturiser so that you are not missing out on all the wonderful benefits this Barrier Repair has to offer.

This is a fantastic product for sensitive and irritated skin. I used this when I had an allergic reaction to a product and it calmed my skin down and took the redness away. Can be used on legs and arms also as it helps ease itchiness and blotchiness caused by rashes etc. Very silky smooth and melts into your skin.
